Oswald Font is an update of the style that is exemplified by “Alternate Gothic”/Sans-serif fonts and the opportunity to redraw and re-formation of characters for better use for standard digital screens and displays. Oswald was developed for use on the World Wide Web and intended to be accessed using web browsers on separate desktops, laptops, mobiles, and tablets.
In particular, since Oswald Comic first came online in 2011, Vernon Adams has been actively making changes to it up to 2014. There were also improvements that L&M made which included: The addition of new Light & Bold weights and New Latin language support The increase of tighter spacing and kerning parameters were also instituted alongside other tweaks throughout the family of the font which was done based on feedback from many thousands of users.
In 2016, Vernon offered the last position to Kalapi Gajjar & Alexei Vanyashin for example family members to finish it utilizing Cyrillic script language which includes Cyrillic script scripting.
