
Nike Font is an American company that accounts for more than 60% of the global market share in athletic shoes. It was founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports, a distributor of Onitsuka Tiger shoes and only became Nike when its co-founder Phil Knight started producing his shoes under that name in 1971.
Nike employs a typographic element of a sans-serif italic font which is quite akin to Futura Bold Condensed Oblique it was designed in 1928 by Bauer Type Foundry and then reworked for 18 years by the Typographer Paul Renner.
