Kabel Font

Kabel Font

Kabel Font typeface was designed by Rudolf Koch, a German typeface designer and was first marketed by Klingspor Foundry beginning from 1927. The type of the Kabel font was belonging to the “geometric” type of the sans-serif fonts more and more widespread in the period of its creation in Germany.

Koch was indeed very famous for calligraphy and this design has circular and straight lines in its design but has some of the nontraditional details and features that can only come from him such as its very small x-height (though larger in the bold body weight), tilted ‘e’ terminals, elegant calligraphy styles and its graceful slope.
