
Consolas Font was developed by Luc(as) de Groot for use in conjunction with Microsoft’s ClearType font rendering technology. Consolas has been a part of Microsoft’s Clear Type Font Collection since Windows Vista, Microsoft Office 2007, and Visual Studio 2010; users can download it from Microsoft. In addition, Consolas is one of the four Vista-only fonts which has a zero in the form of a slash that is placed between each number.
