Ambit Font is an original sans serif font inspired by grotesques of the past but adapted for use today. Its most distinctive feature is its curvier letterforms such as “f” and curlier ones like “r”, as well as their curvier counterparts found in Stylistic Set 02 which you may opt for instead. Forms like c, C, S, and S also tend to bend back on themselves creating its distinctive look. There are even versions with “R” or “K” having curled legs!
Ambit is comprised of seven Weights (from Thin to Black), each featuring an oblique italic. Ambit’s Latin Extended character set covers all languages that utilize Latin script, with features including ligatures and tabular representations for old-style and lining numerals; punctuation that can be tailored specifically to any case and three stylistic sets offering flexibility in letter form possibilities.
