Trinidad Neue Font Sans Serif Font Family was designed in Chilean Type Design Studio Sudaca by an experiment comparing classical Roman proportions (Trajan Columns) with Futura by Paul Renner capital letters, in an attempt to craft an original Sans Serif interpretation of classic proportions. I began working on letters such as H, A N O R S in my search.
As soon as I completed my uppercase letters, my task became an ongoing project. I started designing an alphabet for lowercase letters referencing Futura as well as Kabel by Rudolph Koch; with an aim of finding an acceptable compromise between humanism and geometric or rationalism. Thus was born this family group known by Paul, Rudolph & Alexis’ name & unique identity.
