The most obvious similarity is based on the three-dimensionality as is witnessed on stores’ sidings; moreover, the font is small but large enough to provide this font with the authoritative voice.
Bulb and Neon layers give an old school look to every collection from the Influence family and increases the impact with the application of Shadow layer. It is more preferable at the frontage condensation though, especially when the advertising is done in color; however, it might work for those who want to have that powerful advertisement that combines the white and black color (see the PDF sample).
