This font family was inspired by an American television show created by Joan Ganz Cooney and Lloyd Morrisett and first broadcast in America on November 10th, 1969 still popular today for adults as well as children alike!
Tobias Frere Jones worked on the Interstate Bold Compressed font family between 1993 and 1999 with The Font Bureau designing it with Sans Serif font styles with numerals, styles and lines, and text-based figures.
